We are a smart community pub with great fresh food, where eaters and drinkers alike are looked after with the same friendly and professional service. Whether you’re grabbing a quick pint, morning coffee, light snack, a special occasion lunch or enjoying a night out, our brilliant team will make sure the same care goes into every visit.
As a pub, drinks are at the heart of what we do. Every beer, wine, spirit and soft is chosen with care. We serve a great range of beers & cask ales, with regular guest options. We have a specially selected wine list with monthly specials. Cocktails, magnums of wine, and jugs of Pimms are perfect for parties.
All our food is freshly prepared using well sourced ingredients to ensure the best flavour. We can adjust most dishes to suit dietary requirements.
We are family friendly and well-behaved younger children are very welcome in the bar until 7pm and in the restaurant until 8pm. We have a children’s menu, high chairs available and baby changing facilities in the bathrooms.
Our bar serves the same freshly prepared food as the restaurant, making it the perfect place for a relaxed meal and drink. It’s also dog-friendly (as long as your dog is well-behaved and on a lead!), with a cosy winter vibe featuring a fireplace and comfy seating. In the summer, you can enjoy alfresco drinks on our terrace on in the garden. We offer Wi-Fi, great fair-trade coffee & tea for those working remotely, and in our bar and barn TV’s for major sporting events.
Food is served Monday – Thursday 12 noon – 9pm, Friday & Saturday 12 noon – 9.30pm, Sunday 12 noon – 8pm.
With table service a 10% service charge will be added to your bill, rest assured that 100% of this goes to our amazing team here at The Old Plough.
