Home

Following the Governments update we are delighted to announce that we will be re-opening on Wednesday 2nd December from 11am.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all back in again for an extra special festive season of  roast turkey, mince pies, sparkling cocktails, mulled wine, log fires & roasted chestnuts!

Whether you are looking for that perfect place for a small office lunch, some festive food to enjoy with some of your family or a good excuse to have a jolly dinner with a few friends. Whatever the reason, come & have fun in the safety of our lovely warm & cosy pub or our outdoor heated & covered barn & terrace areas.

To book a table online for up to 6 people either indoors or outdoors please click here.  Remember that we are now in the new tier 2, so tables of more than one household must be seated outside.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support & loyalty and to wish everyone a very merry & safe Christmas.

WHAT WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

  • Friendly, independently-owned and individually-styled
  • Casual enough to be comfortable, smart enough to feel special
  • Serving delicious freshly prepared food all day
  • Great for a snack, business lunch or casual supper
  • Just a drink? Choose from fairly priced cask ales, fine wines, great cocktails, fairtrade coffee & teas
  • Cool in summer with alfresco dining, lovely sunny garden & shady outside Barn
  • Cosy in winter with a real fire and deep, squashy sofas and armchairs & heated outside Barn
  • Newspapers to read, WiFi for work
  • We are open all day from 11 am
  • Food is served 12pm – 9.30pm every day (10pm Fri & Sat)

We think pubs are really for adults. However well-behaved younger children are very welcome seated at a table in the bar up to 7pm and in the restaurant until 7.30pm. We do have high chairs available, a kids menu and baby change facility.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome in the bar area Monday to Friday lunchtimes up to 6pm and in the garden at any time.

We have a small car park and are conveniently located a very short stroll from Cobham and Stoke d’Abernon station – on the main Waterloo line. Why not combine a visit with a trip to Wisley Gardens RHS  or the stunning Painshill Park which are both just down the road. Alternatively  ifootpath have designed a fantastic 4 mile circular walk from our car park – click here for more information – a great way to go for a good walk before a very good lunch!
